Tassie Udora Good, born on March 10, 1934, to her loving parents, Willie and Lillie McCool, left this world on October 21, 2023, at the age of 89. She was a devoted mother, a diligent worker, and a woman whose heart bloomed with love and affection for her family.

Tassie dedicated her life to raising her children, instilling in them the values of hard work and unwavering commitment. Her strong work ethic was a testament to her character, as she never shied away from putting in the effort to provide for her family.

One of Tassie's greatest joys in life was her garden, where she lovingly tended to her flowers, watching them bloom and grow. The colors and fragrances that filled her garden were a reflection of the beauty and warmth she brought into the lives of those around her. Tassie had a love for fishing that was infectious. She would often spend serene hours by the water, casting her line and enjoying the peacefulness of nature.

Tassie's culinary skills were unmatched, and she had a particular fondness for savoring a plate of succulent ribs. Her love for good food brought people together and created lasting memories around the dinner table. Above all, Tassie cherished her grandchildren and adored her great-grandchildren. Their laughter and presence filled her life with boundless joy. She shared with them her wisdom, stories, and the warmth of her heart.

Tassie Udora Good's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched with her love, dedication, and zest for life. Tassie's spirit will continue to bloom in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know and love her.

Tassie was preceded in passing by her children, Lilly Hestilow, Wanda Hunt, and Willie Hestilow; first husband, W.F. Hestilow; secon husband, Ed Good; parents, Willie and Lillie McCool; three brothers; five sisters; and grandchildren, Joanne and Mandy.

She will be deeply and lovingly missed by her children, Rosie Waits, Ann Ferrell, Donnie Hestilow, and Sissie Hill; thirteen grandchildren, Angela, Wesley, Jeremy, Chris, Thomas, David, Teresa, Leah, Lane, and J.W.; sister, Pearl Ince; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held in honor of Tassie's life on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at Bethlehem Cemtery in Whitney, Texas beginning at 10:30 AM.
