Delfina Hernandez Chavez was called to go home with her Lord on August 7, 2018 in Fort Worth, Texas. Delfina was born to her parents, William Snider and Mercedes Chavez on March 1, 1949 in Bisbee, Arizona.

Delfina had her door open to anybody, she was helpful, lovable and considerate of those close to her. Family was everything to Delfina; she was always there for them and enjoyed spending time with them. She loved to crotchet and cook for her family; her signature chili and chicken enchiladas were enjoyed by all. Delfina also liked being outdoors, she was especially fond of fishing. Delfina was a loving mother, sister, and grandmother. She was always there to care for her family with a unique heart of gold, she simply could never be forgotten.

Delfina is survived by her children, Guadalupe Garcia, Pedro Chazarreta, and Gloria Alvarado; her siblings, Maria Fox, Rosemary Trejo, Frances Gordon, Bertha Galindo Sainez, Mary Ella Gonzalez, and Phil Galindo; her grandchildren, Mercedes Ayala, Bryanna Ayala, Stanley Garcia Jr., Julieanna Chazarreta, Daveon Chazarreta, Erick Joe Alvarado Jr., Michael Tucker, Charles Cowan II, and Jacklyn Tucker; along with many other loving family members and dear friends.

Delfina is preceded in death by her mother, Mercedes Galindo; her husband, Jimmy Hernandez; her brothers, Danny Vasquez and Mario Vasquez; her sister, Christina Vasquez.

Although the family mourns the loss of Delfina they rejoice and celebrate her new life with our Lord and Savior in the Eternal Kingdom of Heaven.
