2006 - 2019

Ethan Alexander Blackmon born April 27, 2006 came into our lives in May of 2007. 
    Throughout the years what used to be a very quiet and shy young kid, Ethan loved video games and grew to love football. Not only playing for the school team and boys in the family but rooting for his favorite team the Dallas Cowboys and favorite player Patrick Mahomes of the Chiefs. On his down time he would listen to a wide variety of music or maybe, for a little humor, get into moms makeup not forgetting skin care face masks. If he was outside, you'd most likely find him gone fishin' with his dad and younger brother Wesley while getting in some father/son bonding. 
     Ethan was so full of life yet not like most mischievous teens. When together as a family, he wasn't the one to be seen hiding in the corner engulfed in his phone or trying to capture the best Instagram photo. He was the one you'd find with a niece or nephew in his arms or playing their games with them or maybe as many of them he could have around him. 
     Ethan is survived by his parents Tony and Samantha Goodwin. Sisters Kalyn and Brother-in-law Shawn Powell; Heather and Brother-in-law Michael Massey; Amanda and brother-in-law Tyler Turner; Pasie and Brother-in-law Brandon Cox; Brothers Cassius and sister-in-law Crystal Cox; Samuel and sister in-law Kellie Chambers; Tony Goodwin Jr.; Wesley Blackmon; and total of 12 almost 13 nieces and nephews. 
     He is proceeded in passing by his Great Grandmother Alline Slate, Grandmother Patricia Wisdom, Grandfathers Billy Goodwin and Richard Manning. Also Aunt Patsy and Uncle Donald Reed. 
  

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 10 AM in the Funeral Chapel at Roberts Family Funeral Home at 5025 Jacksboro Highway in Fort Worth.  A reception will follow.
