Maria Del Socorro Soto Escobar

Maria del Socorro Soto Escobar passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 with her family by her side. Maria born in Fajardo, Puerto Rico on November 4, 1945 to her parents, Teodoro Soto Cruz and Cristina Soto Escobar. The family moved to New York when Maria was 5 years old. Maria lived most of her life in the Bronx; until moving to Texas in 2007 to be with her daughter and grandchildren.

Maria enjoyed anything involving her grandchildren. She was always at concerts and football games to see them march.  Maria also enjoyed watching TV with her cats, Oscar and Willow, who also loved Walker, Texas Ranger, Criminal Minds and NCIS.

Maria is preceded in death by her brother, Marcelino Soto.

Maria is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Ramos, grandchildren, David and Cristina Henderson, a sister, Elvira Domingo. Maria also leaves behind two brothers, Father Charles Soto and Ismael Soto along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial service will be held on December 28, 2018 at 4pm at Roberts Family Funeral Chapel located at 5025 Jacksboro Hwy Ft. Worth, TX 76114.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Tarrant County
