1939 – 2018

Patricia Joan Hinds passed away August 29, 2018 surrounded by her loving family members.  Patricia was born April 26, 1939 to her parents, Ewell Jones and Nannie Aldelda Proctor in Colorado City, Texas.

Patricia was a very kind and loving person to all that knew her. The saying “Big things come in little packages” was very true for her.  She was a firecracker of life and the loving matriarch of the family.  She had the biggest heart and the smallest hands and feet.  She provided for everyone in need and loved everyone.  She enjoyed shopping, often with her husband, Kent, waiting in the car. She had an eye for decorating, which she was amazing at.  Her home could have been pictured in magazines.  She leaves numerous memories especially her wonderful cooking and the lavish Christmas’s she and Kent provided.  Much of their time was devoted to caring for babies less fortunate as foster parents.  Patricia is gone but will never be forgotten.  Her memory lives on in each of us.

Patricia is survived by her daughters, Kelly Seay and Teri Schulte; her grandchildren, Brandon Seay, April Wilson, Timothy Schulte, Christopher Seay, Stephen Schulte, Kaylie Schellhammer, Tyler Smith and Triston Anderwald; her great grandchildren, Jordan Malloy, Cameron Seay, Hanna Seay, Colin Wilson, Nolan Vidrine, Ava Schulte, Madison Wilson, Sterling Seay, Evander Schellhammer, Leia Anderwald, Elijah Anderwald, Lauren Wilson; her sisters, Betty Cornutt and husband Benny and Patty Robertson and husband Lacy along with many nieces and nephews.

Patricia is preceded in death by her husband, Kent Hinds; her parents, Ewell and Nannie Jones as well as her sister, Doris Jones.
