Agnes Ann Roberts 1938-2021

Agnes Ann (Thompson) Roberts "Aggie", beloved mother and friend, gained her wings on September 22, 2021.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 6,2021, at Roberts Family Funeral Home from 10:00am to 12:30pm. A Graveside Service will follow at 2:00 PM at DFW National Cemetery.

Agnes was born in Bismarck, North Dakota on February 8, 1938, to Henry Thompson and Annie Frank. From a young age, she had an extremely giving heart. Agnes married the love of her life, Carol Roberts, at sixteen years old. She was a loving USAF military wife for twenty years prior to her husband's retirement. Carol and Agnes shared fifty-six years of marriage and had four beautiful children. Agnes was a faithful member of Evangel Temple of San Angelo. She eagerly volunteered for service projects including missions support, women's ministry, special events planner, and soloist for worship service. She always let her Christian beliefs and love towards others define her personality. At fifty years old, Agnes received her GED, opened the first computer store in San Angelo, and started Red Ball Taxi company. Her generous heart and kind spirit will be forever missed.

She is reunited with her husband, Carol ("C.D") Roberts; parents, Henry Thompson and Annie Elizabeth Frank; daughter, Rhonda Campbell; grandson, Jeremy Hopkins; brothers, Wilfred Thompson and Floyd Thompson; and sisters, Elizabeth Thompson and Eileen Sims

Agnes will be deeply and lovingly missed by her sons, Craig Roberts and wife, Tracie, (Houston, TX), Keith Roberts (San Angelo, TX), and Chris Roberts and wife, Diane(The Woodlands, TX); daughter, Debi Roberts and husband, Frank Thompson (Fort Worth, TX); fourteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
