Alice Faye Hines went to be with the Lord on March 25, 2020.

Alice was born on July 18, 1944 to the late George and Martha Borchardt Hicks in Roanoke, Texas.  She married the love of her life, Sim Hines, in 1962.  Together, they had two daughters, Pamela and Rhonda.  Alice enjoyed attending and hosting family gatherings and traveling.  She loved art and music, but above all, Alice truly loved being a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  She will be dearly missed by all that love her.

Alice reunites with her parents, George and Martha, and siblings, Marie Stone and James Weldon Hicks.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 57 years, Sim Hines; daughters, Pamela Hanson (Thomas) and Rhonda Boyd (Tracy); grandchildren, Brittany (Aaron), Brian (Kaitlyn), Alec, Conner, and Katherine; great-grandchildren, Julia, Jack and Sterling; siblings, Bob Hicks, Joe Hicks, and Juanita Weaver; and many other loving family members and dear friends.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday 30,2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Aurora Cemetery located 507 Cemetery Rd Aurora, Texas 76078
