Alisa Thrama Phauls
Alisa Thrama Phauls (Lisa Goodman) died peacefully on May 13, 2016 in Fort Worth, TX due to complications of ALS. She was 49 years old. Mrs. Phauls was born on December 2, 1966 in Childress, TX to her parents Leroy and Florance Goodman. She was raised in Amarillo where she graduated from Palo Duro High School. Upon graduation, she enlisted in the United States Army. She recieved the highest marks possible for launching grenades. Alisa was also a member of the United States Army Reserves. She relocated to Missouri where she met and married her husband McNeal Phauls.
Mrs. Phauls worked at the Lee Factory in Missouri and Wal-Mart in Arlington where she brought joy, love, and laughter to everyone she came in contact with. She never met a stranger. Lisa was a very activeand energetic mother and grandmother. Cooking was her passion and she loved to be around her family. She attended Church at New Vision of Life where she accepted our Lord Jesus as her Lord and Savior.
She is survived survived by her mother; Florance Washington of Arlington, TX; her son and daughter-in-law, Lonny Wilson and Alexis Brooks of Arlington, TX; her daughter and son-in-law, Synatra Goodman and James McCloud; and her daughter, Raven Goodman of Fort Worth, TX; her grandaughters, Mazyia Goodman and Ja'Mya McCloud of Fort Worth, TX; Leilani Wilson of Arlington, TX; Naziah and Z'laiyah Moore of Arlington, TX; her grandsons, Jaden Wilson of St. Roberts, MO and Ja'Cari Goodman of Fort Worth, TX; her sisters: Tisha Goodman of Grand Prairie, TX and Donna Thompson of Waynesville, MO; her sister and brother-in-law Claudia and James Friar of Amarillo, TX; her brother and sister-in-law, Keith and Kim Goodman of Amarillo, TX; her brother and sister-in-law, Kevin and Varlena Goodman of Amarillo, TX; her brother and sister-in-law, Tracie and Sally Barrow of Amarillo, TX; her brother, Travis Laury of Amarillo, TX and her brother Patrick Washington of Arlington, TX; and a host of other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Leroy Goodman and her stepfather Claude Washington.
Alisa's viewing will be Tuesday, May 17, 2016 from 10:00am- 11:00am and a Graveside Service will follow at 11:00. While the family is greatly saddened by Alisa's leaving this earth, they rejoice and celebrate her new beginning with our Lord and Savior in her new home in the eternal kingdom of heaven.
