Alonzo Barrera Jr., 51, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2020 surrounded by his family in San Antonio, Texas. Alonzo was born on November 19, 1968 in Del Rio, Texas to his parents, Alonso Barrera and Elva C. Barrera.

Alonzo loved football, music, drawing, watching wrestling and enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids.

Alonzo will be deeply and lovingly missed by Diana Barrera, Alonzo Barrera III, Vanessa Barrera and Veronica Ramos and husband, Jacob; Alyssa Barrera and Lily Barrera; his father, Alonso Barrera Sr.; his brothers, Robert and Albert Barrera; his sisters, Debbie Barrera and Monica Barrera Fisher; fourteen grandchildren; along with numerous loving family members and dear friends.

Alonso is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lazaro and Guadalupe Barrera; his grandfather, Federico Cervantes; his grandmother, Lydia Faz; his aunts, Margarita Barrera and Bertha Barrera; his mother, Elva Barrera; and his grandson, Carlos Escobedo.
