Amanda Marie Palm September 1, 1994 – May 2, 2025

With hearts broken but full of love, we announce the passing of our beloved Amanda Marie Palm, who left this world too soon, yet filled it with more love and light in her 30 years than many do in a lifetime. Amanda passed away on May 2, 2025 leaving behind a family who adored her, a son who was the center of her universe, and countless memories of a life beautifully lived.

Amanda was born on September 1, 1994, in Warren, Ohio, to a world that would never be the same once it knew her. From the beginning, Amanda was fiercely independent, spirited, and filled with warmth. Her laughter was infectious, her hugs were healing, and her presence was one of comfort and joy. She had a vibrant soul—one that gravitated toward the simple joys of life and gave more love than she ever asked in return.

Amanda was a proud graduate of Texas Tech University, where she poured her determination and intelligence into her studies and grew into the strong, compassionate woman her family and friends knew and loved. She carried the Red Raider spirit proudly, and her academic journey was a testament to her perseverance and passion.

Above all else, Amanda was a mother—the best kind of mother. Her son, Ayden Christopher Moore, was her guiding light, her proudest accomplishment, and her greatest joy. In Ayden, Amanda saw every hope and dream she held for the future. Her love for him was boundless, unwavering, and unconditional. She nurtured him with patience, joy, and fierce devotion, creating a bond that nothing—not even death—can sever.

Amanda is survived by her loving father, David Lee Palm II and Jami Jones-Palm, and her devoted stepfather, John Nolan Downey and Steve and Marsha Logan, who helped raise her with steadiness and care. Her grandparents were cherished influences in her life, including her beloved paternal grandparents, Sally Jo Palm and David Lee Palm, and maternal grandfather, David James Baughman.

She leaves behind a wide and deeply connected family of siblings who were each a piece of her heart: Danielle Jo Ramirez, David Lee Palm III, Hope Ann Bailey, Tanner Jay Palm, Christopher Robert Chaney, Jordan Robert Chaney, Steven Joseph Palm, and Jacob Nolan Downey. Their relationships were marked by shared memories, unconditional love, and a bond that no amount of time or distance could diminish.

Amanda was preceded in death by her brother, Ryan Lee Palm, whose memory she carried tenderly and often spoke of with love and longing. We take comfort in believing that they are now reunited in peace.

A true lover of life's simple pleasures, Amanda had a contagious enthusiasm for her favorite things. She adored chicken nuggets, could never pass up chips and salsa, and found deep peace by the beach, where the rhythm of the waves seemed to match the rhythm of her soul. She was happiest outdoors, surrounded by nature and sunshine, often accompanied by her two beloved dogs, Rex and Archer, who were more than pets—they were her loyal companions and trusted confidants.

Amanda had a magnetic personality—bold and unfiltered, yet profoundly loving. She was a defender of the underdog, a nurturer, a loyal friend, and a source of laughter when it was needed most. She had the rare gift of making people feel truly seen and loved just as they were. Her strength was quiet but steady, her love deep and unwavering, and her presence unforgettable.

To know Amanda was to love her. And to lose her is to carry a piece of her with us, always.
