Angie Garcia

January 15, 1953 – March 5, 2021

Angie Garcia entered her eternal resting place on Friday March 5, 2021. She was born on January 15, 1953 in Fort Worth, Texas to Domingo and Hortencia Martinez, and was the second oldest of five children.

Angie was a loving daughter, sister, wife, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend. She remained in Fort Worth where she married her husband of several years Freddy Garcia, and in turn welcomed a son and a daughter followed by many grandchildren. Her grandchildren were the highlight of her life, and she loved spending time with all her family and friends.

Angie is preceded in death by her parents, Domingo and Hortencia Martinez; husband, Freddy Garcia; daughter, Lisa Garcia; and sister, Joann Guzman.

Angie will be deeply and lovingly missed by her son, Freddy Garcia Jr.; sisters, Maggie Vasquez, and Sandra Martinez; brother, Michael Leyva; grandchildren, Sabrina Garza, Domingo Garcia, Freddy Garcia III, Jesse Garcia, and Valerie Garcia; five great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 beginning at 5:00PM

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at 10:00AM
