Annie Jewell Hollingsworth 1918-2016 Annie Jewell Hollingsworth passed away November 8, 2016 in Fort Worth, Texas. Annie was born October 23, 1918 in Pancake, Texas. Annie was a person who brought joy and laughter to all she came in contact with, her presence in the room just seemed to brighten any one's mood. After all, grandma always knows best. Annie worked as a surgical nurse for 25 years, she loved helping people and being able to comfort when it was needed most. Annie was an active mother and grandmother, she loved working in the yard barefooted and getting things done herself, Annie loved playing cards with people. In fact, she would play any card game with you. One thing Annie also liked to do was to provide for others, she loved to have people over at her house and especially cooking for them. Annie was a follower of the word of God, she loved her Lord and actually was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lake Worth, Texas. Most importantly Annie was close to her family and loved spending time with them. Restoring them with love and building many memories. Annie had a big loving family and was proud of each and every one of them. Annie is survived by her son, David M. Hollingsworth, wife, Jan Hollingsworth, her sister, Delores McAda Womack, her daughter in law, Dana Hollingsworth (wife of deceased son James Hollingsworth) her grandsons; Bryan Hollingsworth, James Hollingsworth Jr., Joey Hollingsworth, Jason Hollingsworth and her granddaughter, Lesli Bailey. Annie also leaves behind her fourteen great grandchildren along with other loving family members and friends. Annie was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon D. Hollingsworth, her son, James Hollingsworth Jr. Though we mourn the loss of Annie, the family wishes all to come and celebrate her life, rejoice her memory and glorify her reunion with her parents and our Lord and Savior in the Kingdom of Heaven.
