Barbara Louise Pugh, born on March 24, 1946, in Dallas, TX, transitioned from this life on November 27, 2023 to join her Heavenly Father and Savior. Her journey was one of love, creativity, and nurturing spirits. She married her late husband, Willie Pugh, on November 22, 1966, embarking on a journey of companionship and shared love that enriched her life in countless ways.

As a school nutritionist, Barbara dedicated her career to ensuring that young minds were nourished not just with food but with care and compassion. Her love extended beyond the school halls into her passions for cooking, where she effortlessly blended flavors to create memorable meals that brought joy to those she loved.

Barbara's artistic flair blossomed through her scrapbooking endeavors, capturing and preserving cherished moments in vibrant and heartfelt displays. Her green thumb found solace in gardening, cultivating beauty and tranquility amidst nature's embrace. Christmas held a special place in her heart, as she reveled in the festive spirit, collecting nativity scenes and angels that adorned her home, embodying the true essence of the season. Above all, Barbara cherished the moments spent with family and friends, especially her four beloved grandchildren, whose laughter and presence brought immeasurable joy to her life. Barbara Louise Pugh's legacy of love, creativity, and dedication will forever echo in the hearts of those she touched. Her memory will be cherished, and the lessons she imparted through her kindness and nurturing spirit will endure. She has been reunited with her husband, Willie Pugh; daughter, Tammy Pugh; her parents; siblings; and nieces and nephews.

Barbara will be deeply and lovingly missed by her daughter, Susan Vasquez and husband, Michael; son, Michael Pugh; grandchildren, Macalah Vasquez, Hannah Vasquez, and Tammy Degollado; great-grandson, Jeremiah Degollado; four sisters-in-laws and their spouses; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

A Graveside Service will be held on December 12, 2023, at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery commencing at 1:00 PM.
