Barbara Lee Osburn 1942 - 2016 Barbara Lee Osburn completed her journey to be with her Lord and Savior on October 27, 2016. Barbara was born September 26, 1942 to her parents, Robert Manning and Jo Ann Cooper-Manning in Fort Worth, Texas. Barbara was very involved with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Barbara was a true Christian Servant. She volunteered many hours with Habitat for Humanity, Woman's Auxiliary at the Hospital, Hood County Library and the Special Olympics. Barbara also helped raise Foster Children. Barbara retired after 30 years with the United States Postal Service in 2006 and enjoyed the freedom of retirement. Barbara was a member of the First Baptist Church in Granbury, Texas and taught countless hours of Sunday school to young children, which she enjoyed. Barbara is survived by her daughter, Debbie Osburn; her son, David and wife Lori Osburn; her daughter, Stacey Shelton and husband Glenn; her grandchildren Lucinda Rose and husband Johnny, Justin Osburn, Jordan Osburn, Glenn Dale Shelton and Cody Shehan; her six great grandchildren; her sister, Carolyn Taylor and her five nieces and nephews. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Joann Manning; her niece, Karen Snider and nephew, Terry Snider. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ALS Foundation and the Special Olympics. The memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church in Granbury at 1851 Weatherford Highway on Sunday the 30th at 2:30 pm.
