Betty Sue Hill

1935 - 2022

Betty Sue Hill passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, in Keller, Texas at the age of 87 years old. She was born on August 2, 1935, in Dallas, Texas to her parents, Noland B. and Irene Cootes.

Betty affectionately known as Mamaw to her family, lived her life selflessly with endless devotion, generosity, patience, and kindness for those she loved. She grew up and lived in Arlington, Texas for most of her life where she was a bank teller for many years. Upon retirement she worked at Academy Sports until she was 82 years young.

Betty was the youngest of five children, Frances Sims, Howard Cootes, Lillie Navarre, and Gene Cootes. All of whom, preceded her in death.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Susie Hill-Holsomback; her son, Jesse N. Hill and wife, Kym; her six grandchildren, Chaz and wife, Amber Holsomback, Josh and wife, Kayla Holsomback, Joseph Hill, Jessica and husband, Justin Evans, Damian Marks, and Tyler Patterson; her seven great-grandchildren; along with many other family members and dear friends.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at 10:00 AM at the Roberts-Martinez Funeral Home Chapel.
