Billy Don Baker 1940 – 2018

Billy Don Baker passed away to be with his Lord and Savior on December 24, 2018.  Billy Don (Donnie) was born on February 10, 1940 to his parents, F.M. "Bobe" Baker and Jewel A. Pringle-Baker in Fort Worth, Texas.

Billy Don (Donnie) will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and so much more to so many others.  Billy Don (Donnie) was a hardworking provider for his family. He enjoyed fishing and watching a good ballgame.  He was a very talented singer and loved worshiping the Lord. Though the family is saddened by the loss of a wonderful man, they are comforted knowing Billy Don (Donnie) was ready to go home with his Lord.

Billy Don (Donnie) is survived by his wife, Allene Baker; his son, Jerry Don Baker; his daughters, Lucy Craighead and Debra Riddle; his twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren; his sister, Nina Strickland; his numerous nieces and nephews; along with many loving family members and friends.

Billy Don (Donnie) is preceded in death by his parents, Bobe and Jewel Baker; his grandchild, Christopher Wake; his great grandchild, Jay Cleve Priest; his brothers, Sammy Baker and F.M. Baker; and his sister, Barbara Evartt.
