Bobbye Jean Cotton 1958 - 2016 Bobbye Jean Cotton of Azle, TX passed away on July 11, 2016. Bobbye was born on October 20, 1958 to her parents, Hasel Cotton and Maudine Dean Sharp in Azle, TX. Bobbye was a resident of Denton, TX. We honor Bobbyes's sacrifices that have been made to our wonderful nation as she served many years in the United States National Guard. Bobbye worked as an engineer where she brought laughter and joy to everyone she met. Bobbye never met a stranger and was always working hard. Bobbye remained a humble servant to God, Family, and Country until her passing. Bobbye was very strong willed, as determination and grit were only a few of her personality traits. Bobbye had an enormous family, and family meant everything to her. Bobbye was survived by her sister, Betty Plumbee and husband Thomas, brother, Buddy Cotton and wife Lora, nieces; Robin Allen, Terri Hester, Natalie Cotton, nephews; Wayland Bunch, Bryan Cotton, Toni Jean and along with other loving family members and friends. Bobbye is preceded in death by her parents, Hasel Cotton and Maudine Sharp, sister, Billye Cotton. While the family is greatly saddened by Bobbye's leaving of this earth, they rejoice and celebrate her new beginning with our Lord and Savior in her new home in the eternal Kingdom of Heaven. Services are to be determined at this time and will be privately held by the family.
