Carlos Ponce Cobian 1948 - 2016 Carlos Ponce Cobian left this world to be with our Lord and Savior on June 23, 2016. Carlos was sixty-eight years old. Carlos' passing has left all us heartbroken, but we celebrate a wonderful life lived and his new life with our Heavenly Father. Carlos was born May 16, 1948 in Tampico, Mexico to his parents Faustino Cobian and Socorro Ponce-Cobian. Carlos grew up with his brothers, Faustino Cobian Ponce, Rafael Angel Cobian Ponce and Jose De Jesus Cobian Ponce, and his sisters, Isabel Cobian Ponce, Maria Guadalupe Cobian Ponce and Socorro Cobian Ponce. Carlos was a lovable child with a heart of gold. Carlos was known to be a quiet and humble man with a high intelligence. He studied engineering and was a self taught auto mechanic. Carlos moved to the United States in 1970. He met and later married the love of his life, Maria Irma Paz in Tampico, Mexico on July 28, 1973. Together, they raised a beautiful family. Family meant everything to Carlos and he enjoyed spending time with them. One of the things that Carlos enjoyed most was cooking for his family. Carlos was an amazing chef, and was the first cook at Pancho's Mexican Restaurant on Jacksboro Highway. Carlos was very kind and giving. He always helped others when they needed it. He loved football, boxing and played a mean game of pool. Carlos is survived by his loving wife, Maria Irma Cobian; his son, Robert Cobian of Fort Worth; his daughter and her husband, Karla and Frank Limon of Azle; his daughter, Irma Cobian and her husband Jesse Saldana of Fort Worth; his son, Albert Cobian of Fort Worth; his grandchildren, Lauren Nicole Robles of Fort Worth, Alyssa Andrea Robles of Fort Worth and Francisco "F.J." Limon Jr. of Azle; his brother, Faustino Cobian Ponce; his sister, Isabel Cobian Ponce; his sister, Maria Guadalupe Cobian Ponce; his sister, Socorro Cobian Ponce and his brother Jose De Jesus Cobian Ponce, all of Mexico. Carlos was preceded in death by his parents, Faustino Cobian Saldana and Socorro Ponce Rodriguez, and his brother, Rafael Angel Cobian Ponce. Carlos has left this earthlyworld to reunite with family and friends that have gone before him in his new home in the eternal Kingdom of Heaven. Carlos is looking down at us with a big smile on his face saying, "Move Forward - make the best of life - and I'll see you soon." Goodbye, Carlos, and God bless.
