Charles Taylor Corbett Jr., 85, of Grapevine, Texas, passed away on January 12, 2025. Charlie was born on September 28, 1939 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma to Charles Corbett Sr. and Juanita Heath Corbett. He was raised in Earlsboro, Oklahoma. When he graduated from Earlsboro High School he was the Salutatorian and then attended Oklahoma University in Norman. He worked as an Electronic Technician for the Federal Aviation Administration, Public Service Company of Oklahoma and AT&T. Besides his great sense of humor, he enjoyed golfing, fishing, and painting, as well as watching college football—especially his OU Sooners. With his daughter, he engaged in a playful rivalry between Texas teams and West Virginia University. He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents Doris and Daniel (Lee) Heath, and his brother Billy Corbett. He is survived by: Wife of 48 years: Susan Corbett, Grapevine, Texas. Children: Cynthia Corbett Wyer and husband Dennis, Karen Corbett Buck and husband Phil, Lisa Corbett Stackhouse and husband Russell, Kristine Brynda and husband Mike. 10 Grandchildren: Jeremy Wyer, Sarah Chapman, Daniel Buck, Melynnda Tomlinson, Nicholas Buck, Melissa Girard, Jonathan Stackhouse, Alex Stackhouse, Madeline McKenna, Christopher Brynda. 10 Great Grandchildren and one Great Great Grandchild Brother: Bobby Corbett and wife Gloria Sister-in-Law: Geraldine Corbett
