Charles Reno Huckabay 1935-2016 Charles Reno Huckabay, also known as "Doodle" and "Skinny Minnie" passed away August 16, 2016 in Fort Worth, Texas. Charles was born October 7, 1935 to his parents in Sanger, Texas. Charles was many things to many people. A husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. Charles had a wonderful soul and always saw the good in everyone. Charles married Betty Grace Robbins on November 27, 1982 in Yukon, Oklahoma. Charles was a hard worker. Throughout his life, he was a dairy farmer, truck driver, welder and finally co-owned an embroidery shop until his passing. Charles was known to be able to fix anything. Charles loved his pickup truck and was so caring for it, nobody could touch it. Charles is survived by his wife, Betty Grace Robbins, his children Ben Huckabay, Jewel Kubacki and husband Michael, Jay Huckabay and Terry, Paul Jones Henderson III and wife Leslie, Patty June Martinez and Jerry Kimbell. Charles also leaves behind his grandchildren, Crystall, Jaycee, Justeen, Paul, Jessica, Kaia, Alex and Eddie. His five great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews and other loving family members and friends. Charles was preceded in death by his parents. His first wife, Anita and son, Curtis Lee Huckabay. Though we mourn the loss of Charlie, we celebrate the wonderful life lived. A visitation will be held at Roberts Family Affordable Funeral Home Saturday August 20, 2016 8:00-10:00am followed by a service at 10:00am all here in the chapel.
