Charles William Wood 1954 - 2017 Charles William Wood passed away to be with our Lord and Savior on May 21, 2017. Charles was born on April 12, 1954 to his parents, Kenneth Dean Wood and Lois Hilda Farnham-Smith in Marshall, Texas. Charles was a real family man and loved them dearly. He also loved his two Chihuahuas, Pancho and Lefty. Charles enjoyed playing the guitar, fiddle, mandolin and many other instruments. He had a beautiful voice and enjoyed singing Karaoke in Azle. Charles had a very soft spot in his heart for his grandchildren. He loved watching them grow and spending time with them. Charles also enjoyed fishing and traveling. He especially enjoyed History Museums. Charles leaves behind his wife, Julie Wood; his daughters, Christina Ecker and husband David, Amanda Fortenberry and husband Brian; his step-sons, Douglas Barnes Jr. and Thomas Barnes and his wife Amberlynn Barnes and their daughter Katherine Grace Barnes(Gracie); his seven grandchildren; his sisters, Geneva Busby, Beverly Carter; his step-sister and step-brothers, Toni Sharp and husband Burt, Donnie Hall and wife Patricia and Jeff Smith; his sister-in-law, Cindy Kennedy and husband Ronnie along with their daughter Cassie McCreery; his father-in-law, Tommy Hutchison(Pops) and other family members and friends. Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Wood and Lois Smith and mother-in law, Mary Hutchison. Memorial Service to be held June 3, 2017, 12:00 PM at Cross Walk Church, 4600 Wheeler St, Fort Worth, TX 76117.
