Cheryl May Venter March 30, 1962 - October 21, 2017 Cheryl May Venter passed away October 21, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Cheryl was born March 30, 1962 to her parents, Lawrence Matthew Ekron and Augusta Thomisine Ada McLuckie-Ekron in Durban, South Africa. Cheryl moved to Texas in 1996 with her husband, Bernard, where they lovingly raised two boys. Cheryl worked for the United Methodist Church in Saginaw, serving faithfully as an administrator and office manager. She gave her time and efforts selflessly to family, friends and colleagues each day until her passing, which came all too soon. Cheryl is survived by her parents, Lawrie and Tommie Ekron; her loving husband Bernard; her two sons, Nicholas and Joshua; her brother, Keith Ekron and wife Debbie; her sister, Leonie Kruger and husband Darrell; her nieces and nephew, Sarah, Blake and Casey Kruger along with Candy and Beth Ekron; her Aunts, Monica Wendling, Jeannette Duplesis, Thora Zietsman and husband Johnny; her uncle, Cyril Ekron and wife Vera; her brothers-in-law, Claude Venter, Alan Venter and wife Carol; her sister-in-law, Sheren Stingling as well as many other loving family members and friends. Cheryl is preceded in death by her brother, Quinton Ekron along her father and mother-in-law, Bill and Ethel Venter. Cheryl will be deeply missed and her memory will live in our hearts forever.
