FORT WORTH, TEXAS - Christopher John Lesniewski, born to Stanley John and Evelyn Lesniewski August 2, 1948 in Baltimore, Maryland. He passed away on November 24, 2020 in Fort Worth, Texas at his daughter's side.

Chris graduated from the Baltimore Polytechnic Institute and served two years in the United States Army from April 1968-April 1970. During his time in the Army, Chris served as a medic at Fort Sam Houston, taking care of our wounded soldiers returning home. He retired from Ports America after working over 30 years in the billing department. After many, many guilt trips and persuasive conversations with his sisters and daughter, Chris decided to move to Fort Worth in March 2019.

Chris enjoyed noodling on the guitar, expanding his knowledge of classic blue styles, talking/arguing about politics or sports with his family (especially Greg) and collecting guitars. He enjoyed vacationing to Las Vegas where he favored the poker machines and dabbled in black jack. He also enjoyed watching football and rooting for the Ravens.

Chris married Roberta Loretta in 1983 and had two children, Jonathan Christopher in 1984 and Candace Nicole in 1985. He loved spending his time with his daughter and grand-dogs, going for walks, out to baseball games, and staying up late watching horror movies or playing "Seven Degrees to Samuel L. Jackson." Candace won't admit it, but Chris usually won.

Chris is preceded in death by his parents, Stanley John and Evelyn Lesniewski; and son, Jonathan Lesniewski. He is survived by his daughter, Candace of Fort Worth; brothers Gregory (Wanda) Lesniewski and Steve (Linda) Lesniewski; and sisters, Angela (Dan) Thomas and Constance (Henry) Barcroft.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Roberts Family Funeral Home with visitation on Tuesday December 1st from 5:30-7:00pm CST and memorial service officiated by Chaplain Nathan Tucker from 7:00-8:00pm CST. Riley Wilson will be performing some of Chris' favorite songs beginning at 5:30, as well as honoring him in soulful blues style during the memorial service. For those who cannot attend, Candace will be streaming the visitation and memorial service via live video on a private Facebook event page.

Christopher will be laid to rest at the Dallas Fort Worth National cemetery on Wednesday Dec 2nd at 10:30am CST. Again, Candace will hold a private Facebook event page with live video for family and close friends who cannot attend in person.
