Chukwuma Silvanus Opara, born on December 6, 1951, in Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria, passed away on August 3, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of knowledge, love, and cherished memories. Chukwuma earned his Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from DeVry University.

Chukwuma was a proud father to his three daughters, Stella, Suzette, and Zelda, who were the joys of his life. He found great happiness in his role as a grandfather, often playing catch and frisbee with his young grandsons (Nathan and Ethan). His love for reading and keeping up with world news, politics, and economics inspired countless discussions within his family and circle of friends, leaving them informed and engaged with the world around them.

A celebration of Chukwuma's life will be held at the Roberts Family Funeral Home, where loved ones will gather to honor his memory. Visitation is set for August 22, 2026, at 10:00 AM, followed by a reception at 3:00 PM. As family and friends come together, they will rejoice in the joyful moments he created.
