Clara Harding 1936 - 2016 Clara Harding passed away peacefully on May 26, 2016 in Aurora, Texas. Clara was born on May 23, 1936 in Houston, TX to her parents, Jack Strickland and Tyra Dora Blaylock-Strickland. Clara was a long time resident of Aurora, Tx. Clara worked as a nurse where she brought joy, compassion, love and laughter to everyone she came in contact with, she never met a stranger. Clara was a very active and energetic mother and grandmother. Clara loved to drive on the open road and the freedom it brought her. Clara loved cards with family and friends, many of whom lived in her complex. Clara was very strong willed as determination and grit were only a few of her personality traits. Family meant everything to her. Clara had an enormous family and was proud of every one of them. Clara is survived by her sons, Charles Bear, Ricky Robles, Bradford Robles, Randall New and Billy Jack Guance; her daughters, Catherine Garcia, Thelma Cisnerros and Tamra Jenkins-Carnley along with countless grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Clara is preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah Mills; her son, Franklin Robles, her grandson; Rowdy Robles; her parents, Jack and Tyra Strickland; her brothers, Emmett, Robert and Pete Strickland and her sister, Dorthey Folks. While the family is greatly saddened by Clara's leaving this earth, they rejoice and celebrate her new beginning with our Lord and Savior in her new home in the eternal Kingdom of Heaven. Clara's viewing will be Wednesday, June 1, 2016 from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Azleland Memorial Park and Cemetery. Graveside Service will follow at 2:00pm.
