Clarence Bailey Watkins 1938-2016 Clarence Watkins of Fort Worth, TX passed away on June 16, 2016. Clarence was born on August 5, 1938 in Browning, TX to his parents, Clarence Bailey Watkins Sr. and Clara Mae Danley. Clarence was a resident of Fort Worth, Texas. We honor Clarence's sacrifices that have been made to our wonderful Nation as he served in the United States Navy, spending years of his life serving our country in other areas of the world. Clarence remained a humble servant to God, Family, Country until his passing. Clarence worked as a carpenter where he brought joy, compassion, love and laughter to everyone he came in contact with. Clarence never met a stranger and was a very active and energetic father and husband. Clarence was very strong willed, as determination and grit were only a few of his personality traits. Family meant everything to Clarence, always spending his time with them. Clarence had a wonderful family and was proud of each and every one of them. Clarence is survived by his wife, Carolyn Jean Watkins, daughter, Debbie Watkins, sons; Clarence B. Watkins III, Sonny ray Watkins, brothers; Kenny Watkins, Elvin Watkins, sisters; Darla Watkins, Hannah Clara Mae Watkins along with many wonderful nieces and nephews and many other loving family and friends. Clarence is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Bailey Watkins Sr. and Clara Mae Danley. While the family is greatly saddened by Clarence's departure, they rejoice and celebrate his new beginning with our Lord and Savior in his new home in the eternal Kingdom of Heaven.
