Cody Lane Burleson 2003 - 2017 Cody Lane Burleson was born March 4, 2003 in Weatherford, Texas to his parents Harold Dale Burleson and Tina Darlene Green-Burleson. Cody was being raised by his parents along with his older brother, Payden and younger brother, Beau in a family that was filled with love. Family meant everything to Cody. He was incredibly giving and caring and loved to make everyone in his family laugh. Cody left this earth to return to his heavenly father on April 14, 2017. Cody attended Shirley Hall Middle School where he was in the 8th grade. One of his passions was fishing and he once caught a large fish with no pole and just some fishing line. Cody loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and shooting. He was active in youth wrestling and enjoyed sports in general. Like most young men he loved cars and was fascinated by everything automotive. One of his favorite things to do was to go to car shows. Cody is survived by his parents, Tina and Dale; his two brothers, Payden and Beau Burleson; his two grandmothers, Brenda Green and Wilda Sargent; his grandfather, Tommy Green; his aunts, Christie Oliver, Jessica Green, Veronica Burleson and Peggy Fugate; his uncles, Jamie Oliver, Tommy Green Jr., James Burleson, Jim Burleson and Shayne Fugate; and his cousins, Ashlie Oliver, Dallas Oliver, Ty Green and Sydney Green along with many other family members and countless friends. The family is greatly saddened by their loss, but want everyone to celebrate Cody's life. While his life was brief, his was a life well lived. The contributions that Cody made by touching the lives of everyone he met are what the family wishes everyone to remember. Cody has moved to his new home and begun his new mission in the Eternal Kingdom of Heaven and the family recognizes that our Lord has a much greater purpose in store for Cody. The family invites everyone to attend a graveside service at Tin Top Cemetery on Friday, April 21, 2017 at 2:00 PM for Cody.
