In Loving Memory of Danny Oren Crawford

1949 - 2025

Danny Oren Crawford was born January 21, 1949, in Azle, Texas. He was the fourth of nine children. Danny attended M.L. Kirkpatrick School from K-12. He was active in arts and entertainment. He graduated in 1967 and was drafted into the United States Marine Corp. He was successful in completing two tours of Vietnam and honorably discharged in 1970. To his credit, he earned high rankings, which included "National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with one star, and Rifle Sharpshooter Badge".

Danny is preceded in death by Ike Crawford Sr., Mary Alice Maxwell, Gloria Crawford, Ike Jr, Ira Crawford, Danny Crawford Jr., Amarie White, Jaelen Green

Danny is survived in death by siblings: Emma McGregor, Eller Williams (Dennis), Katherine Faye Colten (Tommy), and Sherry Lynn Sipho (Jonas Sr).

Kids: Catema Tracy Smith, Danielle Hicks (Broderick), Marissa Ratcliff. Stepsons: Sedrick Eddington (Shelisa), Andre White (Krista).

Grandchildren: Camisha, Kennedi Smith, Jontrell, Broderick Hicks Jr., Blace Eddington, Za'quore White, Christalyn Dorsey, Khari Eddington, Shayun Eddington, Jacob Green, Jeremiah Green.

Nephews/Nieces: Sipho/Crawford family members, Ira Crawford Jr., Deltra D. Sipho Lewis, Dameon Sipho, Jonas Sipho Jr, Sasha Sipho, Jeff Crawford, Joseph Crawford (JoJo), Kinawa Crawford and a host of other family and friends.

He is also survived by his loving wife of twenty years, Janice Marie Eddington Crawford

A visitation will be held on Friday, May 9, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM followed by a Funeral Service beginning at 2:00 PM at Roberts - Martinez Funeral Home Chapel.
