David Wayne Farris 1952 ~ 2018 David Wayne Farris went to be with the Lord on February 16, 2018. David was born on November 22, 1952 in Dallas, Texas to his parents, Marvin Lee Farris and Geneva Aunee Smith-Farris. He was the best husband, Dad and Pappaw we could ask for. He loved being outdoors, watching old westerns, and spending time with his grandkids. He was faithful, respected, strong, loving, caring, compassionate and forgiving. Was a jack of all trades and never met a stranger, quick witted and always had a smile for you. David is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Deborah (Debbie) Farris; his brother, Don Farris and wife Cathy; his son, Jason Farris and wife Pam; his daughter, Kelli Stewart and husband Jimmy; his son, William Farris and wife Susan; his daughter, Amber Sellers and husband Jeffery; his grandchildren, Taylor, Kaleb, Hunter, Denver, Cameron, Joseph, Elijah, Riley, Camren, Skylar, Kyndal, and Cooper; his three great-grandchildren, Skyler, Niklaus and Elijah; along with many other loving family members, brothers and sisters in Christ and acquaintances, whom he made an impression on with his great smile. He is preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Geneva Farris. Memorial donations in memory of David can be made to The Abbey Church to be used for Mission trips.
