David Cody Taylor

1953 – 2019

David Cody Taylor went to be with the Lord on November 20th, 2019 in Hurst, Texas. David was born on May 20th, 1953 in Fort Worth, Texas to his parents, Samuel Hayden Taylor and Marilyn Irene Pruitt. David found the love of his life in Anna and her beautiful girls. He stepped up and brought them into our family as his own. David was not only a great brother but a great father too. David loved fishing, self-taught himself to play guitar to the music of Moody Blues. He loved his family and all the family members that came into his life. David will be deeply and lovingly missed by his brother, Jerry Taylor; his daughters, Jodi Rodriguez and Michelle Johnson; his grandchildren, Emma Rodriguez and Kairi Johnson; his niece, Lindsey Arthur; his nephews, Christopher and Marcus Taylor, along with many other extended family and friends.

David is preceded in death by his father, Samuel Taylor; his mother, Marilyn Taylor; his brother, Samuel Taylor Jr. and his wife, Anna Taylor.
