Debra Marcus Hunter 1956 ~ 2017 Debra Marcus Hunter passed away January 3, 2017 in Azle, Texas. Debra was born March 7, 1956 to her parents, Gerald Marcus and Dorothy Abramson-Marcus in New York City, New York. Debra was an active member of Trinity Baptist Temple since 1991. Debra enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports, family gatherings, and knitting. Debra was a loving wife to Calvin Hunter for 43 years. Debra and Calvin were married on August 19, 1973 at the Carswell Airforce Base in Fort Worth, Texas. Debra was a wonderful mother to Calvin III, Jacen and Anthony. Debra was also a proud grandmother to Harlan Tunnell, Eathan Tunnell, Hayden Tunnell, Trinity Hunter, Jordi Hunter, Monti Hunter, Cash Hunter, Destiny Chandler and Jacob Noe. Debra leaves behind her husband, Calvin Hunter Jr., her sons; Calvin Hunter III, Jacen Hunter and Anthony Hunter along with many other loving family and friends. Debra is preceded in death by her parents, Gerald Marcus, Dorothy Hendricks and her sister, Lori Wilson. While the family is deeply saddened by their loss, they celebrate a life well lived and glorify the reunion with her parents and our Lord and Savior in the kingdom of Heaven. The family wishes everyone to celebrate her memory and the beautiful life she lived.
