Dolores Belle Patterson Ramsey, 93, passed away on February 14, 2021 in Fort Worth, Texas.

Dolores was born on August 18, 1927 in Turnersville, Texas to the late Bob and Belle Patterson.  She grew up on a farm in Coryell County along with her fourteen siblings.  Dolores, or as her family referred to her "Snookie," met her college sweetheart, Duane Ramsey, while attending Abilene Christian College and in 1947 tied the knot.  Together, they shared three children, Terry, Mark, and Paul.  In 1964, Duane and Dolores chose to move their family to Grand Prairie, Texas, where they established a home full of love for over fifty years.  Together, they were faithful members of the Church of Christ for many years.  In August of 1997, she retired from the Texas Employment Commission after twenty-five successful years.  In her spare time, Snookie enjoyed buying and selling antiques with her husband.  It changed from a hobby to a profitable, thirty-year long career.  Above all, Snookie cherished the time she spent with her family.

She will be deeply and lovingly missed by her children, Terry, Mark, and Paul; sisters, Georgia Arnett and Joy Bates Ross; four grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many loving friends.

Dolores Ramsey specifically requested the NO flowers be sent; she would prefer that people donate to their favorite charities.
