Donald Ray "Duke" Mason 1937 - 2015 Duke was born June 4, 1937 in Caney, Oklahoma to Lee and Carrie Mason. Duke was one of four children. He leaves behind his brothers, Richard Mason of Boggy Depot, Oklahoma and Jerry Mason of Wapanucka, Oklahoma and one sister Hazel Culbreath of Caddo, Oklahoma. His parents and his brother Charles Mason pre-deceased Duke. Duke met and later married Wanda Marie Petross in 1969. Wanda passed away, but the lifetime of memories they shared held his faith strong and now they are reunited with our Lord and Savior . Together, they had one son, Jimmy Mason of Azle, Texas. Duke was tremendously proud of Jimmy, as well as, the rest of his kin including his step-son's Billy Dresser of Granbury, Texas and Mark Dresser of Fort Worth, Texas. Duke also has one step-daughter, Toni Myers of Springtown, Texas. Family was everything to Duke and he couldn't be more proud of his nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Duke served in the United States Army during the Korean War and was always proud of his service to his country. Duke joined the Church of Christ in 1968 and was strong in his faith and love to our Lord. Duke will be missed by all his family and numerous friends and family in the church. While it is our loss, we celebrate his salvation and new life with our Lord.
