Douglas Wayne Moore 1942 – 2019 Douglas Wayne Moore passed away to be with his Lord and Savior on September 13, 2019.  Doug was born on May 14, 1942 to his parents, Vernon J. Moore and Georgia Mae Taylor in Austin, Texas.

We honor the sacrifices made by Doug as he served in the United States Airforce. Doug served in the Motor Pool, driving dignitaries.  Doug married Judy on January of 1964 before being stationed in Alaska.  Upon leaving the Airforce, Doug worked for American Airlines and had a long and successful career and retired to pursue his hobbies. He enjoyed many outdoor activities such as golf, hunting, fishing, drinking beer, landscaping and gardening at his home. He was a beloved husband, brother, father, uncle, grandfather, and friend.

Doug is survived by his son, David Moore; his daughter, Tracie Hunt and husband, Bryan; his granddaughters, Megan Rae and Lindsey Moore; his grandsons, Wyatt Rae, Tyler Moore, and Ethan Rae; his great granddaughters, Cambree Woods and Vivianne Woods.

Doug is preceded in death by his wife, Judy Moore; his parents, Vernon and Georgia Moore; his sisters, Darlene Gore and Doris Stone.

A Memorial Service will be held 1:00pm on Friday, September 20, 2019 at Azleland Cemetery Chapel, 850 North Cardinal Rd, Azle, TX 76020
