Douglas Robert Snyder

1947 - 2024

Douglas went home to be with the Lord at the age of 76 on May 11, 2024 after a battle with Dementia/ Alzheimers. He was born in Detroit, Michigan, then moved to San Antonio, Texas where he was stationed at Randolph Air Force Base. There, he met Mary, his wife of 53 years. They lived in San Antonio for nearly 20 years. He was an associate pastor at Helotes Independent Bible Church for several years. Then they moved to Fort Worth, Texas in 1990. He retired from ITW/Traulsen , May 31, 2013, where he was a Senior Fabricator. They lived in Benbrook, Texas. He loved to sing and play the guitar. Douglas loved the Lord and his family. He is survived by his wife, Mary Snyder ; daughter , Anna Griffin ;grandchildren, Joshua and Jared Griffin. His brothers; Donald Snyder wife (Laurie) and John Snyder wife (Lisa) and many nieces and nephews from Michigan.
