Ernest Payne McGee

Ernest P. McGee, 94, a retired welder, passed away on Tuesday December 1, 2020 in Fort Worth, Texas.

Ernest "Ernie" McGee was born in Fort Worth. He was a WWII veteran in the Army. After the war he went to TCU on a G.I. bill to be a welder. He married Wanda Jean Wagner in 1952. He was also a Fast Pitch Softball player of the Fort Worth league.

Ernest will be forever missed by his daughters, Sabra McGee, Toi Wright and husband Sam, and Tara Stewart, all of Fort Worth; his five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Ernest will be honored with a private service at the DFW National Cemetery.
