Freda "June" Miles 1935 - 2017 Freda June Miles was born March 31, 1935 in Memphis, Texas to her parents Tom and Zollie Lane. She returned to our Lord and Savior on Friday, March 24, 2017 in Fort Worth, Texas. June loved the Lord. She was the ultimate pastor's wife and she very much enjoyed her role in mentoring many women coming to the Lord. She was a great teacher of the Bible and loved teaching children and helping them build a relationship with God. June began her ministry with her husband, G.D. "Dwight" Miles in 1972 and served The Church at Azle for over a thirty-two year span beginning in 1985. June was very musically inclined and shared her gifts through her ministry at church where she played many instruments including the piano, organ and guitar. June was very proud of her family and next to God they meant everything. June met and later married the love of her life, G.D. "Dwight" Miles on July 1, 1950 in Memphis, Texas. Together, they created a loving family with their three daughters and two sons. June leaves behind her daughters, Sally Miles of Azle, Texas; Connie Hill of Minden, Louisiana and Kimberly Poindexter of Water Valley, Mississippi. June also leaves behind her son Mike Miles of Azle, Texas along with nine grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. While June's entire family is saddened by their loss, they rejoice for the reunion with her husband Dwight and her son Randy Miles in her new home in the Eternal Kingdom of Heaven. The family wishes for everyone to celebrate her new eternal life with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
