French L. Haywood passed away on November 12, 2017 in Ft. Worth, Texas. French was born to Purvis Williams of Fort Worth, TX and Ola Mae Brown-Medlock of Abilene, TX on March 7, 1959 in Big Spring, Texas. She was raised by the late Reverend J.B. Hardeman and the late Elva Ruth Keyes Hardeman. French L. loved to live life to the fullest and had a smile and laugh that lit up the world around her. She worked for a short time at the Big Spring VA Hospital as a Candy Striper. She married Joe Nathan Haywood in 1981 in Fort Worth, Tx. She embraced life with passion and love. Her life and homegoing is celebrated by her daughters, Tymeshia Haywood and LaShawn Haywood-Williams of Fort Worth, TX and her son, Joe Nathan Haywood Jr. of Amarillo, TX, Six siblings, Phyllis Hardeman Moore and husband Herbert Moore of Big Spring, TX, Jacquelyn Hardeman-Manley and husband Danny L. Manley of Las Vegas, NV, and Cynthia Hardeman of Houston, TX. Johnny B. Hardeman of Amarillo, TX and Purvis Williams Jr, and Johnny Williams of Fort Worth, TX. She leaves behind as well, five grandchildren (T'Eundra Haywood, Christopher Porter, Jr., Zamiya Porter, Winter Fletcher, and Mariya Fletcher of Fort Worth, TX and one great granddaughter Audrey Davis of Fort Worth, TX, and two nephews Wendell Moore of Big Spring, TX and Jefery B. Hardeman of Las Vegas, NV. French L. made friends wherever she went and leaves a host of extended family and many friends who loved and cherished her spirit and tenacity. She is also preceded in passing by her Aunt Jerlene Bell and son in law Terence "Bear" Williams Sr. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon on November 18, 2017 at Grace Temple of Praise, 4900 S. Loop 820, Suite 105, Fort Worth, TX, 76140
