Gary Ben Shipman Sr 1957 - 2017 Gary Ben Shipman Sr of Arlington, Texas passed away March 12, 2017. Gary was born July 14, 1957 to his parents, J.L. Shipman and Maryann Duke-Shipman in Grapevine, Texas. We mourn the loss of our dearly departed but we remember the life lived and the impact Gary had on us all. Gary was a friend to all and enjoyed living life. Gary loved to spend time with his family and friends. Family meant everything to Gary. Gary also leaves behind his grandchildren. Gary loved spending time with his grandchildren as so many grandfathers do. Grandchildren often bring a spark of life and joy into their grandparent's hearts. This holds true in the relationship that Gary had with his grandchildren. We will miss Gary and hold his memory in our hearts forever. Gary is survived by his wife, Angela Shipman; his daughter, Lacey England; his sons, Gary Shipman Jr, Kacey Shane Shipman, Cody Aaron Shipman and Bradley Cole Shipman; his grandchildren, Damon Coy, Makayla Jo, Abigail Jo, Andrew Glenn, Bailee Marie, Adam Cole; his brothers, Scotty Shipman and wife Ruby, Johnny Shipman and wife Cindy, Berry Shipman and wife Dawn, Terry Shipman and wife Diane along with many other loving family members and friends. Gary is preceded in death by parents, J.L. and Maryann Shipman; his daughter, Shanna Dawn; his son, Cory Shawn and his sister Sherry Shipman.
