Glen Curtis Tate
1961 - 2016
Glen Curtis Tate passed away Friday April 8, 2016 in a tragic motor vehicle accident. Glen was born February 3, 1961 to his parents, Grover Cleveland Tate and Rogene Lou Wright-Tate in Weirton, West Virginia. Glen loved to work on cars with his dad growing up. Glen graduated from Oak Glen High School in New Cumberland, West Virginia, class of 1979. Glen moved to Texas in 1982 where he met the love of his life Lydia Hall. The two were later married August 2, 2003 in Azle, Texas.
Glen is survived by his wife, Lydia Rutowski Tate; his daughters, Kassie Wood and husband Tim of White Settlement, Texas; Crystal Rutowski of Ohio and Ashley McBrayer and husband David of Azle, Texas; ten grandchildren; his sister, Rhea Anderson and husband Andy of Hurst, Texas; his brothers, Roger Tate of Weirton, West Virginia, Rodney Tate and wife Jana of Grand Prairie, Texas; his father-in-Law and mother-in-law, D.L. and Jackie Hall as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Glen never met a stranger and so he also leaves many close friends. Glen may have departed from this world, but he will remain in our hearts forever.
