Gregoria Estrada 1957 – 2018

Gregoria Estrada Castruita passed away on Wednesday December 5, 2018 at the age of 61 from respiratory complications. She was born in Juan Aldama, Zacatecas on May 15th, 1957 and raised by her grandparents. She brought her children from Mexico when they were very young and was a single mother who worked two jobs to keep a roof over their heads. In her last couple of months, she traveled to Mexico to spend time with her mother and relatives. Ms. Estrada was recently reunited with her son, Jaiver. It was her long life wish to make sure he was well raised.

Ms. Estrada was a loving person who loved to travel. In her spare time she loved to listen to music while sewing, taking care of her plants and watching after her birds. She was very social and friendly with anyone she met, and was known for her long beautiful black hair. She was always making sure everyone was fed and helped in anyway that she could. It was a dream for her to have a big close family and finally had that. She will be remembered and missed dearly.

Ms. Estrada is survived by six children: Jose Eladio, Ernestina, Luz Elena, Javier, Maribel, Gerardo, followed by her twenty grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
