Harriett Irene Thompson (1935-2015) Harriett Irene Thompson was born on August 14, 1935 was born August 14, 1935, to her parents, Otto and Bessie, in Winfield, Kansas, and returned to the loving arms of our Lord and Savior on October 2, 2015. Harriett loved to plant (especially yellow roses) and work in the yard. She was very active in her grandchildren's events, and never missed them. Harriett enjoyed time at Eagle Mountain Lake, while barbequing. Family always came first. She was very active in a singing group at church, and loved crochet. Harriett is survived by her son, Vearl Williams, of Austin, Texas, her daughter, Linda Wortham, of Springtown, Texas, her son, Stuart Wiliams, of Azle, Texas, her daughter, Christina Humphries, of Haltom City, Texas, her son, Lee Thompson, of White Settlement, Texas, her brother, Bob Riggs, of Mesa, Arizona, her sister, Lucille Doolittle, of Norwich, Kansas, thirteen grandchildren, and seventeen great grandchildren, along with countless friends. Harriett is preceded in death by her husband, Lee Thompson, her grandaughter, Courtney Williams, her sister, Helen Johnson, her brother, Clyde Riggs, and her sisters, Ester Kinchloe and Doris Ball. Services will be held at Agnes Baptist Church (Springtown) on October 8, 2015 at 12:00 PM, with a visitation service from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM, under the direction of Roberts Family Affordable Funeral Home. Harriett will be truly and deeply missed, but never forgotten, as we will always hold her hearly in our hearts.
