Helen Delaine Jones

1943 - 2023

Helen Suttles Jones, 79, of Haltom City, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2023 in Fort Worth, Texas surrounded by her family.

Helen was born on January 29, 1943 in Memphis, Texas to Bryan O. Suttles and Dorothy Suttles.  She attended Seymour High School in Seymour, Texas.  Helen married the love of her life, Billy Ray Jones, on November 26, 1959 in Seymour.  She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who always put everyone else first to ensure their happiness and their future.  It is almost unthinkable to imagine life without Helen. Her passing creates a huge gap that cannot be filled, and one that is even more difficult to accept.  Helen's light will shine brightly through the lasting memories of her generosity and goodness.

She has been reunited with her parents; son, Chris Jones; grandson, Ricky Jones; and sister, Jo Rene Stroud, in God's Eternal Kingdom.

Helen will be deeply and lovingly remembered by her husband, Billy Ray Jones of Haltom City, Texas; sons, Billy Ray Jones Jr. of Haltom City, Texas , and Garry Jones and wife, Sherry, of Duncan, Oklahoma; sister, Emmela Baldwin and husband, Edward of Haltom City, Texas; sister-in-law, Barbara McNeese, of Saginaw, Texas; five grandchildren, James Michael Jones, Kerry Jones, Cinnamon Patterson, Jaryn Jones, and Haily Jones; three great-grandchildren, Alyssa Jones, Cecily Patterson, and Salem Patterson; and a host of extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, Janaury 20, 2023, at Roberts-Martinez Funeral Home beginning at 9:00 AM with a Funeral Service to follow at 10:00 AM officiated by Pastor John Hooser.  Interment will be held at Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery in Fort Worth, Texas.
