Humberto Juan Leal Sr. December 12, 1947 ~ January 25, 2017 Humberto Juan Leal Sr. passed away January 25, 2017 in Alvarado, Texas. Humberto was born December 12, 1947 in Freer, Texas to his parents, Ramon Leal and Dominga Jaquez. Humberto was a golden person inside and out, everyone who knew him considered him more than a friend or simply a member of the family. Humberto always kept himself busy and entertained. Humberto loved to play bingo. Bingo was his favorite game. Humberto even had a perfect attendance at the bingo hall. Humberto also enjoyed watching pro basketball games and a good western or war movie if one was on. When it came to food, Humberto could really put it away. Humberto's two favorite foods were Chinese cuisine and barbeque. The man loved to eat. Humberto had a great work ethic and was a hardworking man. Humberto did his job the best he could, putting in time and skill into everything he crafted. Humberto often enjoyed shooting pool at the Veterans of Foreign War. Humberto was a Vietnam veteran, he was shot in Vietnam and for that, he was granted the Purple Heart. Humberto loved his Lord and he had a verse that he cherished very dearly, it was psalm 51. Humberto kept to himself but was humble, affectionate, strong and had so much faith and a great heart. Humberto was a true family man and he loved nothing more than to be with them. For Humberto, family meant everything and family came first. Humberto had a very large family and he was proud of each and every one of them. Humberto leaves behind his ex wife, Margie Pena, his loving children; Victor Leal, Monica Leal, Humberto Leal Jr., Virginia Leal-Robinson and Jacob Leal. Humberto also leaves behind his brothers; Ricardo Alvarez, Rudy Leal, Ruben Leal along with many other loving nieces, nephews and friends. A visitation will be held Wednesday February 1, 2017 from 10:00a.m.-12:00p.m. at Roberts Family Funeral located at 5025 Jacksboro Hwy Fort Worth, Texas 76114 followed by an immediate service at 12 'noon.
