Obituary

Ival Harold DeHart 1940 ~ 2017 Ival Harold DeHart passed away January 21, 2017 in Fort Worth, Texas. Ival was born February 3, 1940 to his parents, Otis DeHart and Vadie Moore in Morehead, Kentucky. Ival was a true outdoorsman, he was fascinated by what the outside had to offer. Ival loved growing vegetables in the garden, he spent a lot of his time there. Ival was a master carpenter, he was known for working with wood and being able to fix just about anything. Ival was raised in Kentucky during the boot legging era and even tried to make a drip system out of his wife's IV lines. Ival was a bright person inside and out. Everyone who knew him considered him more than a friend or simply a member of the family, instead he was a mentor, or considered a second father to many. In spite of everything he suffered during his life, he never showed it. For Ival, others mattered more and he was always willing to give and help with anything she could. Ival was humble, affectionate, strong and had so much faith and a great heart. Ival was a very unique person and his passing is a great loss to this world, not many people. Ival is survived by his wife, Joann DeHart, his children; Steve Quesinberry, Debbie Eisenberg, Ronda Reed, Mindy Taylor and Robert McDonald. Ival also leaves behind his brother, Arlie DeHart, eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren along with many other loving family members and friends. Ival is preceded in death by his four brothers and two sisters. Though we mourn the loss of Ival, we are brought here today to celebrate the wonderful life lived and the impact left on us all along with the beautiful memories made over the time we spent together while you were still with us. Ival will be dearly missed.
