It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jáelen Ahmon Green, beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend. Jáelen, born on July 12, 2003, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Krista and Jerod Green, passed away on January 17, 2025, in Lipan, Texas. Jáelen was 21 years old.
Jáelen was born and raised in North Texas, where he was a bright and curious young man who brought joy and light to everyone around him. He graduated from Haltom High School, where he was known for his quick wit, intelligence, and kind heart. He grew up in a loving, close-knit family and was deeply rooted in the values of kindness, respect, and generosity.
From an early age, Jáelen was passionate about basketball. He could often be found on the court, honing his skills and playing the game he loved. Basketball was more than just a sport to Jáelen—it was a part of who he was. His love for the game was matched only by his creativity and artistic spirit. Jáelen had a natural talent for drawing, expressing himself through art in a way that captured the beauty of his soul.
In addition to his creative and athletic pursuits, Jáelen was also known for his resourcefulness. He had an incredible ability to fix things and solve problems, often turning to YouTube tutorials to figure out how to repair or improve just about anything. Whether it was a broken appliance or a DIY project, Jáelen's hands were always at work, and his mind was constantly thinking of ways to make things better.
Jáelen's intelligence was not just book smart—he possessed an innate wisdom and quick thinking that set him apart. His sharp sense of humor and quick-witted responses made him a joy to be around, and his amazing manners always shone through.Jáelen had a natural ability to make those around him feel seen and heard, always putting others before himself and showing care and compassion in everything he did.
Jáelen was incredibly close to his family, and his love for them was evident in all aspects of his life. He shared a particularly special bond with his mother, Krista, whom he considered his best friend. Their connection was deep and unbreakable, built on mutual respect, love, and understanding. Jáelen was also very close with his brothers—Jacob, Jeremiah, Legend, and Demitri—and always made time to show them how much they meant to him.
Jáelen's ambition was boundless. He set goals for himself and worked tirelessly to achieve them, never giving up until he saw them through. Whether it was mastering a new skill, completing a project, or supporting his family, Jáelen's determination and drive were unwavering. He was a young man who always believed in the power of hard work and perseverance.
Jáelen is survived by his parents; Krista and Jerod Green; his brothers, Jacob Green, Jeremiah Green, Legend Green , and Demitri Rogers; He is also survived by his beloved grandparents, Grandma "Meme," and Grandpa "Papa G.", His Great-Grandma "Mema", His aunt's & uncles; Kathlyn Ruiz, Thenisha & Larry Jr Aron, Kenny Rogers, Kayelyn & Quincy Hawkins, Kizzy Banks-Burton, Charlena Rogers, Jerrica & Wendell Castle, Kristol & Jace Lerma, Jackie Harper, Lisha & Albert Harper-Walker, Regina Nobles. He is also survived by his godmother Latoya Bufford, followed by an entire village of cousins that loved him very much. Jáelen is also preceded in death by his Granny Debra Sherman.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 28th, at 2:00 PM at Roberts-Martinez Funeral Home, 4200 Denton Highway, Haltom City, TX 76117. All who knew Jáelen are invited to come together to celebrate his life, share memories, and offer support to his family as they navigate this heartbreaking loss.
Jáelen Ahmon Green may no longer walk among us, but his love, his light, and his spirit will remain in our hearts forever. May he rest in peace.
