James Ray Adams, Sr. (1927-2016) James Ray Adams Sr. was born in Witchita Falls, Texas, on October 11, 1927, to his parents, Charles and Rosa, and returned to the loving arms of our Lord and Savior on January 8, 2016. James was the youngest of eleven children. He was a 1962 Texas Christian University alumni, and a proud veteran, and proud of his military services. James was extraordinarily proud of his family. He was a man of incredible determination, as he built his two homes. He was a loyal husband, friend, lover, father, master of many trades, and a remarkable gentleman. James is survived by his wife, Kay Adams, his son, James Adams, Jr., and James' wife, Tommie, his daughter Andrea Neely, his grandchildren, Cheyenne and Hunter Neely, and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Rosa, and his ten brothers and sisters. James will be truly and deeply missed but never forgotten, as we will always hold him dearly in our hearts.
