James Othella Moody, 61, of Haltom City, Texas, died on Tuesday, May 19, 2020, in a Fort Worth, Texas, hospital.

James, nicknamed Moody, was born on Sept. 7, 1958, in Kermit, Texas to Edna Mae Rainey Moody and Carol Othella Moody. He enjoyed bird hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

James is survived by his wife, Sherri Ann Moody, his brothers, Steve Munday and Tom Munday, his sister, Cynthia Munday, five nephews, one niece, and several other family members.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday noon, May 27, 2020, at Howard Cemetery near Paint Creek, Haskell County, Texas.
