IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jenness Ann
(Ballard) Morris
March 18, 1946 – May 3, 2025
Jenness Ann Ballard Morris, 79, resident of Fort Worth, Texas and wife of Joseph (Joe) B. Morris for 52 years, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 3, 2025 at her place of residence.
Jenness was born on March 18, 1946 in Commerce, GA to Paul M. Ballard, Sr. & Clara Pullian Ballard. She grew up in the small town of Ninety Six, SC and graduated from Ninety Six High School where she was a majorette in the marching band.
Jenness was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ and surrendered her life to Him as a young girl. All throughout her life, she sought to please God with everything she had. She was a shining example to her family and friends of what a Christian should be. She was a member of Tremont Avenue Church of God in Greenville, South Carolina for many years. While at Tremont, she was a gifted decorator for various events and was known as someone that could be called upon to serve in any area she was asked. She, along with her husband, Joe, also owned All American Fabrics and she was gifted in the areas of sewing, interior design, creating draperies and upholstery.
Her greatest joy in life was being a Mother. For her, a Mother's love went far beyond words and was evident in her natural family and beyond.
Her love for people caused her to gain many friends and she was well loved by everyone who knew her. In her later years as she transitioned to Assisted Living, she became everyone's favorite resident and was always described as sweet and easy going. She was content and found joy in the small things. She was generous and thoughtful, caring and kind. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Paul M. Ballard, Sr. & Clara Pullian Ballard as well as her brother, Paul M. Ballard (Anne Ballard, Michael & Kim, Tim). She has one daughter, Leeann Brazier (Brent Brazier) and three wonderful Stepchildren, Brenda Anderson (Herb Anderson), Lonnie Morris (Mila) & Donna Pineda (Adrian Pineda). 7 Grandchildren and their respective spouses, and 9 Great-Grandchildren.
