Obituary

Jerald "Jerry" Wooley of North Richland Hills, Texas, passed away at home on July 27, 2024 at the age of 70. Jerry was born in Lubbock, Texas to Joe and Betty Wooley. Jerry was a loving husband, father, granddad and great friend, always there with a helping hand or joking to brighten the day. He had retired from Keurig Dr Pepper and enjoyed being home with family, friends and his dog Maya. He loved listening to loud music, watching music game shows, playing pool, watching B movies, collecting lawn critters, collecting antique beer, soft drink and sports memorabilia, feeding (and watching) the neighborhood squirrels and birds, and he was always happy and eager to help anyone in any way that he possibly could, without ever asking for anything in return. He was and is Superman. Jerry is survived by his wife Kathie, and their children Kari(Eddie) Polk, David Wooley, Daniel Wooley, and Jennifer Wooley; 2 grandchildren: Kaydee and Kylie Threatt; He is also survived by his sister Suzy (Tony) Langley and sister-in-law, Margaret Wooley, whose husband Steve is deceased; 6 nephews: Eric (Aundra) Curley, Bradley Smith, T.C. (Dana) Langley, Clayton (Kay) Langley, Tanner (Jessica) Wooley, Walter Gibson; 3 nieces: Kayla ( David) Madrid, Kate (Scotty) Emerson, Laura (Will) Faucher; and his dawg, Maya; Jerry was preceded in death by his parents Joe and Betty Wooley, as well as his sister Sharla Smith and brother Steven "Pete" Wooley. Rest in peace Jerry, we love you. You'll be deeply missed and will always be remembered. A private family service will be held.
